Many years after the events of the original film, legendary sorcerer Willow leads a group of misfit heroes on a dangerous rescue mission through a world beyond their wildest imaginations.
A character's father figure, who raised her after her birth parents died when she was a child, is killed. She continues to grieve him through the following episodes.
Depending on where you draw the line, possibly. Two characters are engaged to be married for political reasons but don't have feelings for each other; they have agreed that they both would rather get out of the engagement if they can, but as of the end of season 1 it still officially exists. Despite this, one of the characters actively pursues a relationship with somebody else, which includes at least kissing. The other is shown to also be romantically interested in another character, but chooses not to pursue a romantic relationship.
The characters see apparitions and hear the voices of people who have died. It's unclear whether these are the actual spirits of the departed or illusions created to distress them.
I couldn't find a more specific section for this: A character who has been possessed by an evil force asks to be killed to prevent him continuing to be a danger to others.
While there is an invasion of the castle during the first episode during which multiple people are injured/killed, none are directly targeted. During episode two, a black royal guard is attacked by his commander who is possessed. He is not killed in this attack though.
There is good dwarfism rep (or so I’ve heard I’m not a little person so I don’t rlly have a day on if it’s good or not) but some ableist tropes are in the series like villain with facial or body differences
The cliffhanger at the end of episode 6 involves a character trapped underwater and in danger of drowning. The character is rescued a few minutes into the following episode.
