The Siren forcibly kisses the Knight while simultaneously cutting him, causing his mouth to bleed. Afterward, the Knight overpowers the Siren and knocks her unconscious and violently strips her jewelry and gold from her semi naked body. Afterward, he throws her body into the lake. This whole scene is disturbing and can definitely be read as a visible metaphor/parallel to rape and violation of the body. At 13:34 we see the Siren emerge from the lake. All bloodied and distressed, she realizes her body had been stripped and violated and she screams in pain.

Visible blood when the knights attack each other and drown in the lake. There's a brief shot of the lake from above, where you see a large pool of blood.

The Siren seduces the deaf knight and they get into an intimate "dance". Although the knight remains fully clothed throughout, the gestures and movements are clearly sexual in nature.

Chaotic noises from the Siren and the men who fall under her "spell". The music is loud, and intense. Sounds of metal and their swords slashing into each other and into the water is very audible.

Many unstable, flashy and shakey shots to create the chaos in the scene. Unsettling and disorienting for the viewers

The Siren is depicted as a slim, exotic woman, nude but fully covered in gold jewellery. She dances seductively to seduce the men into the lake.

The main protagonist is a deaf knight who is immune to the Siren's call. Several moments the audio is cut-out, to give a perspective from the deaf knight's view. At 12:28 he suddenly gains the ability to hear and it drives him crazy. Frantically, he runs around, eventually being pulled in by the Siren and drowning to the bottom of the lake.

Underwater-like audio, the sounds of the Siren... Could be considered misophonia to some.

Several viewers have read the story as an allegory for colonization.
Very explicit scene of a man physically violating the female Siren and we also see her pained aftermath of said violation.

Not sure if it counts but the Siren is visibly upset with her voice when she realizes the main character is not affected by her sounds. She seems to wonder if her voice still works.

Yes, but not in the typical sense. The Siren's screams "possess" the men, making them violent and kill each other and rush into the water where they ultimately drown.

Majority of the short is set at a large lake. We see both the surface as the depths.
