After Velma’s dad says her mom left, there is a flashback montage where a cigarette falls into the mom’s eye. She is then shown with an eye patch, and there are multiple instances of her eye falling out of its socket and her pushing it back in, all in the flashback montage
Okay you’re not wrong about people hating arguably too much on this show (on a personal note yes it’s bad…but not that remarkably bad) ,but with all due respect it’s marked the gore is super over the top such as seeing brain matter and organs
Ep 5&6: NOT Safe!
Episode 5: After bringing a baby home for the first time, it’s s*u*. You see white goo fall on the floor and then see the baby with white goo dripping from its mouth. Almost no audio.
Episode 6: During a montage, Velma and her dad are sitting in the beach drinking beers. Velma v*s and passes out. Audio and visual.
Misrepresentation of mental illness and mentally ill people. Shaggy's design is a stereotype of Jamaican people. Sickle cell anemia is equated to rudeness in a "joke" that many people with the disease spoke out against.
There is an implied incestuous relationship between Fred and his mother. This could be one-sided on Fred's part or perhaps some form of strange infantilism, but at one point Fred admits to his mother regularly watching him urinate. (Which isn't inherently sexual but still extremely odd.)
