Set in a mythical grain elevator church in small-town Saskatchewan, Jo, a semi-closeted teen, gets possessed right before their older brother's re-baptism. New worlds, spirits and orders collide as a divine spirit guides Jo in the overturning of a corrupt priest.
This movie contains 3 potentially triggering events.
Adult dog is shot by the dad within the first few minutes when they are in the forest as it was about to attack child. You will see the adult dog, then you can skip ahead a few minutes.
Shot off screen, but then the camera pans to the dead dog with a bit of blood (dog looks like a great actor playing dead - 10/10 would have gotten great treats after).
THE PUPPY DOES NOT DIE.
Don’t know but won’t watch because of a puppy. I’ve watched too many movies where puppies or dogs die and refuse to watch anymore!! Tired of filmmakers using animals esp dogs/cats as an attraction for certain people. Off my soapbox…. For now!
