A pig is slaughtered off screen, but for some odd, unnecessary reason, the director chose to let the camera linger on the characters while the pig sounds like it is screaming in pain/terror in the background. His severed head is shown cooked and one of the men plays with it during dinner. If you love animals, skip this scene. You won’t miss anything of value and you will save yourself from being haunted by screaming pig sounds.
