There are no dragons in this movie. It’s based on a true story.

In one of the restaurant scenes, there is a discrimination incident in which the owner says a racial slur against a Vietnamese
man that accompanies Walter Cronkite. Walter Cronkite sticks up for the guy…by listing a bunch of groups of people according to the slurs most popularly used against them at the time while also implying they should also be let into the restaurant. It’s played for (dark) laughs and shock at the same time as being made to provoke deep thoughts. My apologies for forgetting the names of the restaurant owner and the Vietnamese guy. It’s a very interesting scene because of just how many directions it goes at once, but it’s definitely likely to trigger some people.

There’s also plenty of less-obvious hate speech sprinkled throughout the movie. None of it is treated as okay behavior.
