Two decades after surviving a massacre on October 31, 1978, former baby sitter Laurie Strode finds herself hunted by persistent knife-wielder Michael Myers. Laurie now lives in Northern California under an assumed name, where she works as the headmistress of a private school. But it's not far enough to escape Myers, who soon discovers her whereabouts. As Halloween descends upon Laurie's peaceful community, a feeling of dread weighs upon her -- with good reason.

No. There is a scene that implies a hand might be damaged when someone puts his hand in a sink with a garbage disposal unit, the scene is quite tense and could be anxiety-inducing to those who are sensitive to hand injuries, but it ultimately doesn't happen. The person soon gets hurt and killed in a different way though.
People constantly try to convince Laurie that Micheal is dead even though she's knows he isn't- however they do geniunly believe he's dead so it's not intentional
I don't think so? Someone is trapped in a tight space and later hung up, though it is unlear whether after or before death. Other than that, I don't remember any restraints.
Not sure what's "excessive" but there is an *almost* severed leg, decapitated head, slit throats, several deep bloody cuts, pools of blood, and a hanging corpse
Not directly. The protagonist acts with very little regard to her own life at points though, especially towards the end, crashing a car on purpose to kill someone while she's still inside it.
A girl is trapped in a lift with a dead body while Michael is trying to attack her. Kids are also told to lock themselves in an office with Michael outside. There’s flashbacks to the closet scene with Laurie and Laurie also gets into a van with Michael in the backseat trying to grab at her.
Not really? But one teen jokes about how her partner should love her even if she eats a lot and he calls it sexy in a way? She called him “so Renaissance” for it so… don’t know if it would bother anyone.
(SPOILER) No. A Black guy appears to be dead at first, but is later revealed to still be alive. Either way, he would not have been the first on screen kill even if he was actually dead.
Not visually but the cop is constantly reading suggestive material over the phone to his wife. The kids also mention orgies and make constant comments.
