After failing to kill stubborn survivor Laurie and taking a bullet or six from former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis, Michael Myers has followed Laurie to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where she's been admitted for Myers' attempt on her life. The institution proves to be particularly suited to serial killers, however, as Myers cuts, stabs and slashes his way through hospital staff to reach his favorite victim.
This movie contains 44 potentially triggering events.
A male nurse pretends to be a patient in bed and grabs a female nurse to pull her on top of him and starts kissing her. We later find out that they have a romantic relationship but it feels uncomfortable in the moment
Michael kills people who beat him up and there a scene soon after where you see him eating them. It’s dark so it’s not that visible but there are gross sounds and if it bothers you I wouldn’t watch that part at least. Around 40 minutes maybe a little sooner.
The nurse held in scalding water becomes progressively more burned until it appears blisters have broken open and skin is peeling/hanging off parts of her face. Fairly minor but could be a problem for some.
End of the first film/beginning of this film show Myers falling from a second story window after being shot. He does not die, you do not see him hit the ground.
Michael’s mental illness is not specific; he has been at a psychiatric hospital most of his life and is frequently referred to as a “mental patient.” Dr. Loomis and others insist his violent behavior is caused by evil and that’s he isn’t mentally ill at all, but rather inhuman.
as mentioned in a comment on the 1978 movie's page, dr loomis - michael's psychiatrist - uses some pretty dehumanising language when discussing him. you could interpret it as michael being literally nonhuman, but it's still quite uncomfortable to see a professional talk about their patient that way
a guy gets his throat cut, a woman is stabbed with a syringe, another woman is scalded to death in a hot tub (these are all seen close up) in addition to other stuff ... (SPOILER) Michael burns to death at the end and it's relatively drawn out
