The whole movie is around a character that pretends to commit suicide in several different ways. It is likely that he is depressed, although it is never confirmed. But the characters mother is worried about his behaviour (not in a caring way, sadly) and has him go to a psychoanalysist.

At 8:28-40 he is going through a carwash that has lights that blink on and off between red and blue. At 21:05-34 cars with headlights at dusk on are driving down a path and there is a lens filter that makes them flare out, and they flash as obstacles pass in front of the headlights. At 1:16:05-41 they are at a carnival and there are many spinning and flashing lights as they exit the carnival ride. At 1:18:55-1:19:14 there is a shot of fireworks going off. At 1:25:54-1:26:01 red ambulance lights flash.

No graphic sexual scenes happen, however there is a scene which shows two characters shirtless in bed together in the morning, implying that they were intimate the night before. One of the characters models in the nude (nothing graphic shown). There are some suggestive jokes, including one visual joke involving a very large wooden carving that looks like a certain anatomical part
