The Spectacular Spider-Man
TV Show • 2008 • Animation
ReportThe Spectacular Spider-Man is an American animated television series based on the superhero character published by Marvel Comics and developed for television by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. In terms of tone and style, the series is based primarily on the original stories by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, with a similar balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a high school setting. However, it also tends to utilize material from all eras of the comic's run and other sources such as the film series and the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.
The Spectacular Spider-Man premiered on March 8, 2008 during the Kids' WB programming block of The CW, and received critical acclaim. The series aired its second season on Marvel's sister network, Disney XD in the United States and ended its run on November 18, 2009, also receiving positive critical attention. Although a third season was planned, the series was cancelled before production could begin.

Not exactly. Curtis Connors does lack an arm, and although it is not amputated, it does regrow and then that growth is reversed.

both peter and his love interests are minors, and although there is nothing explicit, for more sensitive viewers some scenes can get uncomfortable. all parties involved are minors, so it is not a major issue unless romance subplots bother you.

Kurtis conners is a character in most if not all spider man media who doesn’t have a arm and tries to use lizard DNA to regrow his arm. This fails and he turns into a lizard creature. I can’t confirm how ableist the show could be but he is in it and this does happen so I thought I go ahead and mention it

Spidey's hand bleeds in season 1 episode 3 (natural selection). He bandages (though you don't see any blood beforehand) it with webs but you can still see blood in the holes. It happens when he fights [spoiler] on a train and you can pretty much see it throughout the rest of the episode.
