it’s definitely not a happy ending for any of the characters, but it also doesn’t crush all hope. the ending is interesting to say the least but by no means positive. for reference, if something has a ‘final’ sad ending, i will not watch it, but for this, i wasn’t left feeling upset so if you’re sensitive like me pls don’t skip just because the ending is ‘sad’!
