tl;dr not said not loud (it wasn't enough to trigger me personally) but certainly present. in greater detail: the father gives a teenager alcohol and hits on him. upon discovering the boy is younger than he had guessed (16 rather than 18), there is a cut to black. he is arrested for supplying alcohol to a minor but alison believes this to be a euphemism for worse. the mother also references the father having underage men around working on the house, and believing he has slept with them. so technically ambiguous but very strongly implied. if it matters, its more clear in the book

no physical violence and the relationship is very complicated (positive and negative), but young alison is emotionally/verbally abused by her father. i would say there's less of it in the musical then the book though if you're leaping from one to another

statutory rape is heavily implied (and the other party seems reluctant as well) but never explicitly stated

alison's father steps into traffic. she never knew for sure if it was a suicide but believes it to be and speaks as though it was. it is mentioned frequently towards the end of the play, and the father has a song that in part describes his mental state just before. the act is vague and not nearly as upsetting as some other depictions i've seen in musical theatre (spring awakening for example), but it probably depends on the staging/performance
