In a flashback, a character runs into the ocean and I had this interpretation, but it was intended to be the character intensely wanting to wash clean after a traumatic event. So just FYI that happens but no suicide occurs with any character during the show.
Episode 3, we see Tess run into the water (could be interpreted as an attempt) and there is also a child who goes missing in the ocean (TBD if they'll be found, but could be triggering.
Tess struggles with some panic/anxiety/PTSD as her trauma's brought to the surface during this show. There are a few times where she appears to have an anxiety or panic attack.
Mention of minor character OD-ing in the past, about 30 minutes into the episode. I don't think it's ever mentioned otherwise, but there are mentions of drugs later in the series. Nothing shown or used except cigarettes and alcohol during the show, that I noticed.
A teenager is presumed deceased when half a surfboard washes up on shore. Also some parents and at least one minor character are mentioned to have died in the past.
The dad character goes to a hospital after a fall. He's in a bed with oxygen but goes home after. No death or drastic deterioration throughout the show.
No one naked / not much nudity but yes, there's someone in a bathroom turning on a shower and letting it run. The characters are wearing standard underwear/bathing suits or more throughout the show.
Near the end, a character is 'helped' after an injury, but they don't go where they were supposed to. She's threatened, but someone intervenes before anything bad happens and she gets away.
Some flashbacks occur at a party but I didn't notice anything too triggering, though I don't have visual trigger issues so much anymore. Just FYI that those party scenes occur.
Dogs in a character's/dad's yard are eating an animal (possum?) and it's onscreen in some capacity for a minute or so. (I forget when it happened-- maybe in one of the middle episodes.)
There are flashbacks across multiple episodes of the aftermath, and it deals with the events of that night throughout the show. There's also victim-blaming and police. Nothing from the act itself is shown on screen.
There is the main event (the "one night") though I think the character is 19 in that, but there is also a flashback for a younger child, and the daughter is targeted (threatened, face touched, but no sexual assault occurs) near the end of episode 6.
None are hurt.
