The protagonist is heavily implied to have gone through abuse in the past, (joking about having PTSD) and the player has the option to emotionally manipulate male characters who are interested in her.
Protagonist is a serial gaslighter and manipulator who almost always gets away with her terrible actions because of the fact that she’s a hot girl. The game and it’s sequel as a whole are a satire of how heavily teenage girls gaslight, manipulate and play convoluted mind games with people to destroy a person psychologically out of spite or amusement.
Also in the ending where the protagonist gets a state-wide expulsion, she says her mother hits her to relieve her frustration and disappointment in her.
Parents of certain characters are implied to be drug addicts. A jock stereotype character is revealed to be regularly consuming percocet. One ending involves the protagonist stealing said character's percocet stash and getting put into rehab for using too much of them.
No but the protagonist is threatened to be physically assaulted by a jock after rejecting him but she manipulates a nerdy male character into taking the beating instead.
The main character can be offered Percocet from a character who is described as a “benzosexual” (attracted to the unconscious) but accepting it is entirely optional and the situation can be avoided entirely.
Not onscreen. Most instances of sexual assault are just mentioned offhandedly and played up for black comedy but one of the endings has the protagonist get raped by necrophiliac after he strangled her to death (again, all offscreen) and this ending is played pretty straight.
A character breaks both his legs after jumping off the school roof and is told he can never walk again. He can either die in hospital or survive based on whatever the player chooses to tell him while on the stretcher.
A character dies jumping off the school roof to either impress the protagonist or commit suicide after the protagonist rejected him depending on the players choices.
If you count a teenager dying after stupidly jumping off the school roof, insisting he can stick the landing, to try and impress a hot girl as “sacrificing themselves” then yeah.
Protagonist dies in multiple endings. Another character gets murdered by white nationalists in one ending after trying to leave the cult. Another character dies in two different endings after trying to jump off a roof to either impress the protagonist or kill themselves after the protagonist rejected them depending on the players choice
Opening cutscene features the main character going to her father’s house, hearing a gunshot from outside, walking in and finding out he committed suicide and left a note saying it’s her fault.
In one ending, The protagonist gets arrested for unknowingly being involved in a white nationalist terrorist attack and says she has to actually join a white nationalist group for real while in prison for protection. In another ending, her best friend is arrested for being involved in the same group and murdering a student who tried to leave the cult.
There are two routes where the main character can attempt suicide, and is only successful in one. The failed attempt isn’t shown, just described, but the completed attempt is shown.
During an ending a character comes on stage and has a breakdown, followed by a panic attack and sent to the hospital because her boyfriend cheats on her. however this is only verbally described and not shown in detail
The main character says multiple times throughout that she’s suicidal or that she wants to kill herself. Also the confirmation screen for returning to the main menu mid game says “I will literally kill myself if you return to the main menu.”
The protagonist says “only girls who are 300 pounds are into anime” (which is played for irony, considering the games art style) and also mocks her older brothers obesity.
One of the storylines and multiple endings involve a teacher converting most of the school into white nationalists. Basically every character in the game, regardless of male or female, is a massive sexist. Almost every Male character says all women are whores and sluts and almost every Female character says all men are rapists and pedophiles.
It’s mentioned that a teenage girl is Christian but the game doesn’t go any deeper into that until the sequel. There’s also a joke about a character saying they like to think God doesn’t keep frequent tabs on teenage girls.
All of the male characters only talk to the protagonist purely because she’s a hot girl and they want to have sex with her, something she repeatedly uses to her advantage to manipulate people. In one ending when they find out she has zero sexual intent with any of them, several boys threaten to beat her.
Protagonists mother threatens to throw the protagonist out of her house to the streets multiple times. In one ending, she makes good on this threat and the protagonist becomes homeless and lives in a cardboard box in an alley. In another ending, the mother kicks her out again but the protagonist kills herself instead.
Credits don’t play after any of the games endings and instead just returns you straight to the title screen. That said, there is a bonus scene you unlock for getting all the endings that you can easily miss.
The few instances of Blood is generally obscured in shadow, but the school shooter ending shows the school covered in blood everywhere without being hidden by darkened lighting.
