Object which materially proves the existence of an offense or a crime. Filmmaker Léolo reverses the perspective to question in this docu-fiction what society does to the bodies of those who break its rules and resist power. The film successively gives voice to the mutilated victims of police violence and to a young fictional homosexual activist, carried as much by his love as by his commitment but crushed by the judicial system and prison. The corpus delicti poses questions as essential as they are necessary about the difficult articulation of art and politics, expression and action, justice and violence.
