the creature is NOT implied to be trans. there is a scene where it is revealed he doesn’t have a penis, and lisa says “that doesn’t make you any less of a man” which is a fun line but ultimately he lacks a penis for the same reason he lacks a hand: he’s a decomposing zombie
No sight of blood/menstrual products (unless you count a douche in someone's hand, not in use. Just mention of needing to change pads, PMS, and the words "Aunt Flo"
Kinda? As someone with disabilities I noticed the actors portraying traits like having difficulty with mobility. The main character also presents as non verbal for a portion of the movie. I believe there might have been a cerebral palsy joke? It's not too bad but something to keep aware of.
No, but I struggle a lot with lower dysphoria and was triggered by a scene towards the end of the movie. They start the scene by the monster showing Lisa that he doesn't have weight downstairs. She says "that doesn't make you less of a man". They go home and she sews it on for him and then have intercourse. I didn't expect this when watching the movie so it took me off guard...if you also struggle with lower dysphoria please be aware that the topic is brought up briefly.
Not really, Lisa is a high school student and the creature is about the same age as her, but has been dead for 100~ years. He still has the mentality of being the same age as when he died. Compared to say Edward and Bella from Twilight, it's much less creepy.
