There are enemies called "Eyeless dogs" but they do not look like dogs and you are more likely to die to them than you killing them, but they are called dogs and sound like wolves.
The employee writing the computer entries states he never told his parents he took a job with the company. It's heavily implied he dies before he ever returns home.
There is an "inhalant" item that reduces stamina consumption and boosts your speed. It's some sort of stimulant. There is no way to overdose on it, but it will distort your vision the longer you use it.
As of Update 45, the game includes an arachnophobia setting that replaces all spiders with a 3D model of the word "spider". It's very silly. (Note that it does not alter the creature's sound effects, nor remove spiderwebs.)

There is an enemy in the game which looks like a mannequin with a springlock as its neck (see: "coilhead"). It also functions the same way a weeping angel does, which can be even more unsettling.

There is no ending for playing well, only a game over for not meeting your quota that promptly erases your save file. Given the fifty billion other ways you're likely to die in the game, it doesn't have much emotional weight.
The nutcracker enemy carries a shotgun, and will try to shoot you with it. If you manage to get the shotgun you can use it to kill the monsters you encounter.
