There are some descriptions throughout the novel of Thorn (a dragon) being abused by Galbatorix. Thorn's trauma as a result of this abuse is a major plot thread in the novel.

SPOILER
A young werecat is kidnapped.

Later in the novel Thorn is tortured by cultists. He is restrained, and there is some description of his wings having blood on them.

The characters encounter the grave of a dead dragon.

Animals are killed for food.

(SPOILER) In order to retrieve a dragon scale, Murtagh is required to tamper with the dragon's grave.

One of the main characters, Thorn, has severe claustrophobia as a result of trauma. There are multiple scenes throughout the novel where his claustrophobia is triggered.
SPOILER We also see flashbacks to his
imprisonment, where he is trapped in a small room.

The chapter “Without Flaw” begins with a main character being stripped naked and forced to stand on display as other characters make comments about their body. It is upsetting for them, and there are lines that imply that they are dissociating. The onlookers do not seem to be seeking sexual gratification, but considering the sexually traumatizing nature of forced nudity and the way the character reacts, I feel this trigger tag is warranted.
