This tv show contains 83 potentially triggering events.
In a scientist's lab there is the sound of a dog whimper and then it stops. Not clear if death or sleep or what. I don't think it was death but there's enough ambiguity for there to possibly be triggering.
Not abandoned with malicious intentions but the owner has cancer and chose to end his life, alluding to the fact that he knows he’s abandoning his fish
They use nano fibers to cut through an entire ship of people. You see multiple people decapitated and sliced in half but at the end they show a toddlers leg.
[SPOILER] In the very first part of E1 (before the title sequence) a man is shamed and beaten on a stage in front of a crowd. He is beaten so badly that he at first appears to be unconscious but is quickly confirmed to be dead.
(Spoilers) There’s definitely a focus on the fact that many kids were on the ship which is destroyed in S1E5. You see the children reacting/being scared. They are presumably vivisected by nanofiber technology. I wasn’t able to watch the whole sequence so I am unsure if they actually show any children dying this way, but they definitely showed the adults getting vivisected, and you know that the children didn’t survive.
Edit: In the aftermath, they show a child’s severed leg.
A main character can be argued to “be a cop” but he’s more like a spy and is repeatedly stated to not be a cop. He is, however, a “good guy” and likeable.
Another main character dates a navy officer and the officer character is portrayed neutrally at best.
Two characters are walking down the street having an argument when multiple car crashes take place in quick succession with no warning. Scene takes place from 2:10 in until the open credits at 3:00
