At minimum, the beginning of each attempted and completed rape is shown. There is a verbal onslaught after one. The women/victims are often depicted as ambivalent/semi-participatory and afterwards appear to fall in love with their rapist. Nevertheless each event is definitionally rape, having occurred through violence or coercion and/or within the context of false imprisonment or forced marriage.
