Midway through the film there is a headless bird, a woman describes seeing a dog head barking at her, a cow has a bullet wound in its head.

Yes, three times + a good amount of retching throughout.
First time: during the first scene where Zora and Tuesday are together in the bedroom, you briefly hear the sound of the bird vomiting off camera. The next shot you see it in a pool of sparkly purple liquid, implied to be vomit. I didn't find this very triggering.
Second and third [minor spoilers]: After Zora swallows the bird, there are two moments where she vomits it up. Both times there is quite a bit of retching before, but no triggering sound or visuals for the vomit itself (the bird just flies out of her). The first time happens on the beach, and the second time happens when they return home.
