Sally and Gillian Owens, born into a magical family, have mostly avoided witchcraft themselves. But when Gillian's vicious boyfriend, Jimmy Angelov, dies unexpectedly, the Owens sisters give themselves a crash course in hard magic. With policeman Gary Hallet growing suspicious, the girls struggle to resurrect Angelov -- and unwittingly inject his corpse with an evil spirit that threatens to end their family line.

The doves seemed fine as far as what’s shown. As did the tarantula that’s handled, the one in the jar that’s shaken looked fake. However there was a bunch of dead fishes at the market scene. Not sure about the frogs, if they were real and actually in that plastic bag, i guess i didn’t look hard enough lol but hopefully they wouldn’t do that.

They are children when they ask their aunts if ‘mom died of a broken heart’, the aunts exchange a look before saying yes (in a manner of speaking thats true & a nicer sounding way to say it) later Gillian asks Sally if she forgives their mother implying leaving was her choice.
