In an ensemble film about easy money, greed, manipulation and bad driving, a Las Vegas casino tycoon entertains his wealthiest high rollers -- a group that will bet on anything -- by pitting six ordinary people against each other in a wild dash for $2 million jammed into a locker hundreds of miles away. The tycoon and his wealthy friends monitor each racer's every move to keep track of their favorites. The only rule in this race is that there are no rules.
Husband and wife have frequent fights (she headbutts him, he drugs her and the kids) arguably they are both abusive and she forgives him when he brings the family milkshakes. There is not a specifically depicted abusive dynamic though, but some behaviors may be triggering.
No, but a main character talks about how all of their family is dead and they're alone. Nothing graphic and they speak fondly, not sadly of them. May still be triggering.
Several characters are shown to be freaking out in a certain capacity, though they are never addressed as neurodivergent. They are typically brief scenes without much depth.
The billionaires are constantly watching the main contestants.
In a brief scene, a sex worker is brought to a hotel to be asked how much a certain service would charge them. After it's revealed it shows that many people were hiding in the room without the knowledge of the sex worker.
While chasing a hot air balloon, one character grabs a rope and ad he’s being pulled through the air he hits several cows in the flank, disturbing them. A few moments later the rope grabs a cow by the ankle and she is hoisted into the air upside down by her leg. Two characters hang onto her as they’re all pulled through the air, using her udders to shoot milk at each other. After they drop off the cow is still carried through the air mooing. In the next scene, when a character is driving a bus, the cow drops down in front of them and hits the windshield, mooing in alarm (it is very obviously cgi) as its face is dragged across the glass.
I’m only putting yes as there is a scene on the train where Rowan Atkinson is searching for his key and makes insinuating comments about it where it’s implied he’s put his hand into a young boys diaper and is touching him
There are in total 3 transphobic jokes.
1) the misgendering at the beginning of the film
2) there was a joke about a character in a book getting a sex change
3) there's a group of characters dressed up as a female icon, one of them needs to use the bathroom but the door won't lock. They speak in a deeper voice and share that they need a locked door, indicating they are not cis female. The protagonist reacts in a disgusted manner.
Hate speech comes up in a couple different places, one in particular worth noting is when a protagonist comes across what appears to be a lesbian biker gang and "accidentally" uses the word "d*ke" instead of "bike". The gang is shown to get offended and reacts with jokey violence towards the protagonist.
A gun is fired at the ceiling near the beginning of the movie. A gun is later fired at a person but it misses. Later, someone holds a gun as a threat but it doesn’t go anywhere.
