- Early season 1: Remco is addicted to gambling, he quits once he's gone on trial for hosting an illegal gambling party at de Keetal without Suzanne's consent, taking Pilar's keys & ends up having to pay a € 20.000 fine in court
- Lisa Calmeyn becomes addicted to Rethamytyl in season 1. Though when she gets hospitalised from withdrawal symptoms in episode 104. The doctors reveal to her & Jonas Albrechts she had traces of methamphetamine & cocaine in her blood stream. Indicating her supplier & enabler Gert - her then-boss, Jonas' brother - narcotized her with something that wasn't what she thought it was. Lisa gets clean from then onwards. She does not once relapse in the rest of the series
- In the same episode Jonas tells Lisa his ex-girlfriend Olivia regularly did several lines of cocaine & other non-specified drugs when they were at parties. He believed she died after DUI turnt car crash. She is confirmed alive in season 3 episode 2

- In season 1 episode 88 Gert pays a man to purposely fall onto the hood of Lisa's car to steal the Tasha pelicules roles. The man is fine, Lisa is traumatised & the roles aren't found until season 2 episode 77
- In season 1 episode 104 Jonas reveals to a withdrawing Lisa Calmeyn that his ex-girlfriend Olivia got into a car crash due to drug driving, he assumed she died. She is revealed to be alive in the 2nd episode of season 3
- Gert purposely crashes his car in season 1 episode 107
- A car crashes into Jonas' head after a protestor outside Massa aggressively pushes him onto the road in season 2 episode 8. Jonas goes into a brief coma & cardiac arrest but survives
