Inside a darkened house looms a column of TVs littered with VHS tapes, a pagan shrine to forgotten analog gods. The screens crackle and pop endlessly with monochrome vistas of static white noise permeating the brain and fogging concentration. But you must fight the urge to relax: this is no mere movie night. Those obsolete spools contain more than just magnetic tape. They are imprinted with the very soul of evil.
This movie contains 62 potentially triggering events.
A dog is seen falling from a great height and is grievously wounded. This trash, unnecessary scene is put in for shock value and nothing more. Aren't enough animals cruelly murdered in real life? I see these movies for an escape. This actually drags down the film.
There are several graphic scenes of characters v* after being bitten by zombies. There is both build-up and audio. This happens a little before half-way into the movie on the second tape.
On the third tape, Lena retches and gags a bit, but does not v*.
Something that specifically got me was the third(?) tape (Indonesian) with the demon. At the end of the tape, there is a long string of bloody saliva dripping from his mouth and a LOT of mucus hanging from his nose.
