Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun
TV Show • 2014 • Animation
ReportHigh school student Chiyo Sakura has a crush on schoolmate Umetarō Nozaki, but when she confesses her love to him, he mistakes her for a fan and gives her an autograph. When she says that she always wants to be with him, he invites her to his house and has her help on some drawings. Chiyo discovers that Nozaki is actually a renowned shōjo manga artist named Sakiko Yumeno. She then agrees to be his assistant in order to get closer to him. As they work on his manga Let's Fall in Love (恋しよっ), they encounter other schoolmates who assist them or serve as inspirations for characters in the stories.

The protagonist has a stalkerish behavior with her crush (looking at him from a corner, keeping his pen, knowing a lot of information about him like his shoe size or favorite subject). But it's a really "school crush" thing. There is no actual stalking.

A manga in in the show is a murder mystery. The character murdered is a chibi tanuki. It's for humor and the tanuki is treated like a human character.

There's a very brief scene where we see Nozaki kill a bug.

There are some misunderstandings where an outsider thinks there is adultery happening but it's never the case.

There is a comedic scene in which Nozaki tries on women's clothing, but the joke lies in that the clothes are much too small for him and he wishes he was not so large so he could fit into them

Kashima is AFAB and uses she/her pronouns. People often see her and think she's a boy. She doesn't mind it and never corrects them, she even plays with it sometimes. She doesn't seem to care about gender.
There is a misunderstanding where she thinks a boy wants to be a girl and tries to be supportive (giving him outfits, proposing he plays a girl in a play, stealing his pants and leaving him with her uniform skirt...). Though, she was wrong so she ended up bullying him more than anything.
There are multiple instances where people assume wrong (because of physical appearance or because they haven't met face to face) but they never misgender them after they realize.

There are sexual jokes but most of the characters are underage, so there isn't any actual act mentioned.
