Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.
yes first few mentions duncan says "stop raping ser!" imagining himself a part of the watch. when he goes to ashford, the tourney register guy mockingly tells him that they punish liars by lowering them onto a spike a**s first and f*****g them dry". this is a joke and not a real threat but he/the viewer doesnt know that at first. Just made me uncomfortable. especially after the first few minutes randomly having raping mentioned.. very tiresome.
Whether it's "excessive" is debatable, but this episode depicts a lot of brutal violence (stabbing, throat slashing, decapitation, finger/hand trauma, fatal head trauma, eye gouging) that is not for the squeamish.
Not on screen but jokingly threat of it by the tourney register guy when duncan first meets him. when he says "do you know what we do to liars, son?" skip maybe 15 seconds or mute until he smiles and its revealed to be a joke. he threatens a**l mutilation.
First episode is safe, even the scenes where people are very drunk. Lots of spitting, but no v*. (There is however a graphic diarrhea scene in the very beginning as the title music starts playing, if that bothers you).
Very beginning of the episode when the title music starts playing, it cuts to Duncan using a tree to bend over and having very loud diarrhea. Audio and visual.
