A shy and mute seamstress goes insane after being attacked and raped twice in one day. She wanders the New York streets at night in a sexy black dress with her attacker's gun strapped to her garter belt, blowing away any man who tries to pick her up.

The main character takes her neighbor's dog for a walk and tries to get it run over. The scene appears to have been filmed on a real NYC street with the cars unaware they filmed. It is realistically frightening. Later she goes to shoot the dog, off screen, but the last shot of the movie reveals the dog was not killed.
