The story of the miraculous evacuation of Allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain, Canada and France, who were cut off and surrounded by the German army from the beaches and harbour of Dunkirk between May 26th and June 4th 1940 during World War II.
cillian murphys (shivering soldier) very suddenly knocks a drink out of someones hand, can kinda be seen as obscene ig more just extremely sudden out of no where
There is a scene where there is oil on the water that gets set on fire. several people burn in it including one man who is underwater for a period of time before rising into the fire and you see him and others burning
There are scenes of people being trapped under water and then coming up for air, so there's a potential for there to be spitting out water. Didn't notice any though.
There is a man who gets picked up by the boat at the start of the film who is suffering for shell shock which is a mental disease specific to soldiers after being in war that is similar to ptsd
lots of guns lots of people getting shot, you dont see many people getting shot close up except for one guy who gets shot in the face but all you see is him covering his face and yelling. if the sound of guns triggers you i would avoid the film unfortunately
