Two characters experience a bit of a break from reality (albeit in different ways and for good reason given the circumstances) and both threaten violence at some point. However, neither is explicitly called mentally ill and they don't really fall into the false stereotype about the mentally ill being violent.
A giant spider appears in one scene (roughly 42:30 to 44:30) in a bamboo forest. That is is its only appearance, and you won't miss anything important if you skip that part.
There is no family seen on screen which then involves the death of a parent but the death of a parent is referenced/inferred and the death of a character who is known to have a child (child is never seen)
If you see a guy drinking water and then looking at the sky just close your eyes:( and Champan get eaten by skullskrawer in the scene that he sits on a wood looking creature.and he stands up and don't watch this part 😭
a skullcrawler v* out the remains of what it ate last, its the scene where theyre in the bones area and the skullcrawler shows up. also near the end of the movie when the girl is saved from drowning, she v* up water
Not intentionally; A female character named Mason was wrongly assumed to be male. This is mentioned in passing when she shows up in person but nothing else is said and it's not brought up again.
very briefly in the opening credits, there are clips of nuclear explosions (they’re discussing the 70s… yikes.) and there is usage of “seismic charges” (literally just bombs.)
