I would say the three "priceless artifacts" in the movie are the factory, the LaRue House, and the lucky piece of string. The mouse eats the lucky string when Ernie sees him on the auction podium. (It is later returned to them, presumably by the dad's spirit) The house is torn up a lot and finally collapses at the end, right after Ernie declares that it will stand forever. Nothing bad ever happens to the factory, and they keep it at the end.
