An industrial slaughterhouse in Germany. Jakob works as a security guard, while Boris, a Bosnian worker, labours in the slaughter section. Amid the violence and cold, a quiet bond forms between them, and they share an unspoken longing for freedom. When Jakob helps Boris retrieve his confiscated passport, the two become entangled in a struggle of power and powerlessness, leading to life-altering decisions.
