Also Lana does in episode 8 when she has ‘food poisoning.’ You hear it and see her head moving.

There is a lot of forms of gaslighting throughout this show. I believe it's a premise actually. Most of the characters go through things that others don't believe or try to make them forget (e.g. deem them mentally unstable etc.)

There’s also a pretty graphic fantasy one character has about slitting their wrist.

Racism: a character is bullied/beat up for being in a mixed-race relationship, and it's implied that their marriage isn't legally recognized. Homophobia: a character is committed into the hospital due to being in a lesbian relationship, and at least one episode depicts conversion therapy.

Lots since there are patients in the Asylum with mental and physical issues. Most of the language or behaviour is by the nuns.

There is a whole part of the show with an Ann Frank character who claims the Dr in the Asylum is a N**i who did and continues to do Nazi-related experiments on subjects. A character (presumably semite) who tries to take down the N**i gets murdered.
