We don’t see it but in later seasons a woman who ran away from an abusive relationship a long time ago talks about the control and fear she had from her partner. Was not stated to be physical abuse. He held her child from her after she left as well and she didn’t get to see her child again. Could be triggering

The first time this process is shown, it goes well. The second time, a character struggles and tears themself free from the needles.
