the baby of the monster, while inside its fish-like egg is shot and falls out and bounces down some rocks, it looks very humanoid, it's pale and small and bloody and the monster mother holds her dead child obviously very distressed and upset and mourning, it's honestly a bit upsetting

This take place during WW2, A POW calls their Japanese captor a nip which is a slur against Japanese people. Later on a soldier finds his dead friend who was also a POW and he insults the Japanese man with him and describes "his people" (Japanese people, specifically the soldiers) "like animals" for their actions
