There are some medicines which can be used to heal injuries and poison.

There are ticks and beehives in the Tropics biome, beetles and spiders in the roots biome, and giant antlions and scorpions in the Mesa biome. There is a "Bug Phobia Mode" in the settings which replaces the models of all bugs with that of Bing Bong, a goofy plush mascot.

You can feed another player any consumable item with various effects. This is entirely up to player actions.

If a player's hunger reaches above 70%, they will start to see other players as cartoonish walking roast chickens and will be able to kill and eat them. This is not graphic and instantly turns the eaten player into a skeleton. This mechanic can be turned off using the "ENABLE CANNIBALISM" setting in the options menu.

Players faint and go unconscious if their stamina bar reaches 0%. They can die after this if other players don't help them in time.

There are lava hazards in the Caldera and Kiln biomes which can burn player characters. There are also geysers in the Alpine biome which can burn characters caught in it, as well as intense heat during the day in the Mesa biome. Scorchberries found in the Tropics biome cause burns if eaten.

The player characters are presumably meant to be children or teenagers judging by the boy scout aesthetic, and it is very possible to die if you fail. Deaths aren't graphic at all and just involve falling down dizzy before instantly turning into a skeleton.

Not exactly, but if you get too close to the top by yourself and everyone else is lower down the mountain, a spooky guy can suddenly appear, which could startle some players.

Players can spectate after dying, appearing as floating ghosts to surviving players. Scoutmaster Myres is presumably some kind of undead creature when he appears.

The plane crashes on a beach, though interacting with the ocean isn't really necessary. There are sometimes small streams on the forest floor in the Roots. There is also a small hot spring in the Alpine and a small oasis in the Mesa, though these are easy to avoid.

It's possible - see the "is there cannibalism" section. Players can also be eaten by enemy spiders.

There is a gradually ascending mist that can freeze player characters to death if they get caught in it in Peak difficulty and above.

Various "mystical" tier items can be used and destroyed for various effects during gameplay. The Ancient Statues found near campsites can revive dead players or provide rare items, but are destroyed once used.

The camera is mostly controlled by player movement. It can uncontrollably whip around a bit if you fall down.

There is a rare NPC known as "the looker", which appears as an orange scout that stares at players from behind a rock from afar, disappearing if stared at for too long. This NPC has no real affect on gameplay, and can be disabled via the game's settings.

The game overall has a light-hearted, if darkly comedic tone, and doesn't really linger on any sad elements. If everyone in the party dies without making it to the end, the game over screen says "your body was never found". If only one person makes it to the end, the ending cutscene shows them looking around sadly since all their friends were left behind.
