The disembodied head of a goat is found in a fridge freezer. Sal is also able to communicate with the ghost of this goat after the head is found.

There is no dead cats fortunately. However, Sally owns a cat named Gizmo who happens to be pretty adorable and can be seen doing odd things.

It’s not explicitly stated but one character acts with the characteristics of a drug abuser.

In episode 3, the gang finds a freezer full of deboned corpses, indicating that a character had been butchering people and making them into food products for human consumption. The process itself is never directly shown.

In chapter one, a corpse is shown with their head split open. It's rather detailed and up-close.

I wanna say no, because I don't think any teeth are shown being damaged while still attached to a person, but there's some loose teeth that you have to collect and burn, so look out for that if that's not your cuppa

*Spoilers* Yes. Someone does break their bone if I remember correctly. At the end of chapter 2, Dr. Enon (I think that was his name?) falls out of Larry's old treehouse. It then cuts to a CG of Dr. Enon on the ground. I believe either his arm or leg was broken, possibly both.

*Spoiler* Near the end of chapter four, sal is instructed to kill all his friends and family or else the “virus” will spread. It’s really sad and upsetting to watch/play through, especially when it comes time to kill his father who tells him how much he loves him and how he’s so proud of the man he’s become. And seeing as Sal’s not a psychopath he has to live with the guilt and torment of what he did.

Yes, but they’re pretty minor, it’s more of a phycological horror story.

There absolutely are ghosts. A lot of the people you interact with are dead in later games of Sally Face. It's all linked to cults as well.

Several characters - including a main one - get possessed by the "Red-Eyed Demon", and this is a big thing in the game, story-wise.

In Chapter 2, a corpse is seen hanging from a noose. The optional minigame House of the Wretched also shows a hanging corpse at the end. In Chapter 4 a major character commits suicide off-screen. The player can also optionally visit room 403 towards the end of the game and find a minor character has committed suicide with a firearm.

Before and after interacting with a ghost, the lights flicker on and off. It's quite mild, but I'd count it as strobe effects just to be safe.

In Chapter One Miss Rosenberg, an old woman, mistakenly misgenders Sal (a cisgender teenage boy who is rather short and wears pigtails) when she first meets him. No attention is brought to it and in later episodes she refers to him by the correct gender.
