You at one point fight a large, cubic yellow dog named "Broggy". It shows signs of distress when attacked, but otherwise survives and becomes an ally character for the rest of the game.
Bowser (the only major father in game) is known as a surprisingly fantastic father, and all other fathers in game make minor appearances where this is in no way present
Fawful (species most likely one of the "bean-bean" people from a previous game) dies, he is not human but has the intelligence of one and like other characters in the franchise (like Bowser, as a relevant example) is treated just as a human would be
Kind of, during the digestion minigame, Bowser is tasked with eating a giant carrot, so Mario & Luigi help him. During the minigame Bowser can be heard eating the carrot. It's very video gamey and cartoony so I doubt it'd trigger anything, but it is meant to signify chewing so...
I guess it could be considered, yes. When you first get control of Bowser, he cannot use his fire breath move until Mario & Luigi fight the Scutlet that's covering his flame pipe. It doesn't affect his ability to breathe oxygen, but it still does prevent him from using his flames.
No, however at one point Bowser is crushed by his entire castle, and it's implied that he either dies or is about to die, and Mario & Luigi are required to save him.
Yes, but in a cartoon art style, reptiles are somewhat common in game but not an overarching common enemy type (note, Bowser is reptilian but shares a very hazy resemblance that's obviously a lot mote turtle like)
No, however a good portion of the game takes place inside of Bowser's body, and it is not in the greatest shape. It's cartoonishly gross inside of Bowser.
While I selected yes that's only kinda a yes, the spiders aren't real spiders, only have a somewhat passing resemblance, and like the rest of the game are as cartoonish as the rest of the game, no worries here
Yes, there are three specific boss fights that involve Mario & Luigi fighting a giant bug inside of Bowser. The first is the Scutlet, the second is the Durmite, and the third, is the Wisdurm. Those these bugs are cartoony, I can see them being triggering to some people.
Cartoonish ones, if you've seen a "Boo" you'll know what I mean, there's never a point where it's shown or implied that these ghosts weren't at all points ghosts, so its kinda hard to count them as such but they are referenced as ghosts
Yes, but it's pretty obvious that that's the case. A big plot point of the game is that most of Mario & Luigi's story takes place inside of Bowser's body. Bowser also has an inhale ability, that when used, he will inhale and swallow an enemy he's fighting, allowing the bros to help him in the fight. It's all very cartoony and nothing that would inherently trigger anything, but it's a BIG portion of the game.
There is an area that is a doctor's office. However the area is very cartoon like and barely resembles and actual hospital. On top of this, very little medical equipment is actually shown.
