Two characters (mummy dog and mummy papa) that appear frequently are bipedal dogs with axes/katanas lodged into their heads. While the gore is cartoony, its still there. They do not die onscreen but their names imply it. Its also implied they burn to death along with the other residents of the house at the end of the second volume
While often interpreted as such, Angel/Devil Dog is simply stated to "depend on her mood", saying it depends on how she's feeling at the time. Gregory Gallery Tour and the ps2 game (Gregory Horror Show: Soul Collector) continue to show this- suggesting that she once decided whether someone would go to heaven or hell.
Essentially. In the twenty fourth episode of the second season, Neko Zombie burns the hotel in an attempt to free others. He becomes engulfed in flames during this, though shows little to no pain. Gregory mentions that it could be the end of him, too, and the cat either ignored this or knows but disregards himself. What makes it worse? It’s all for nothing, and considering the hotel reverted back to its pre-burned state, he’s probably essentially back at square one.
Quite a lot, though it is relatively cartoony and considerably harmless. However, characters often have disfigurements. Neko Zombie has been sewn up almost completely. Dr. Fritz too is covered in stitches, though probably as a reference to Frankenstein’s monster. Also, it’s implied that each guest at the hotel transforms into something non-human as a result of the realm’s powers.
On less extremes, Lost Doll had her doll thrown away, and some can interpret My Son as possibly being abused due to his father being an alcoholic and also having no hands on the center of his face, though this is highly unlikely. On high extremes, Neko Zombie can be interpreted as a child or teenager, and he was sewn up, starved and trapped in a cell for quite some time, as well as dealing with common verbal abuse by non other than Gregory himself.
Gregory is collecting souls for his mother (to "stay young"), which could be seen as a metaphor for drug addiction. Also, in Volume 1 Night 5, the POV Character is served and forced to eat soup that has been poisoned/drugged.
A bipedel cat character (named Neko Zombie) is implied to have died at the hands of the hotel owner. He shows up frequently. At the end of the second volume, he starts a fire burns up onscreen.
The entire hotel burns to the ground at the end of volume 3, and several characters are shown burning to death on screen inside the hotel. They -and the hotel- are revived/restored afterwards.
In the second episode of The Bloody Karte, Dr. Fritz is buried after having his blood drawn by Catherine, but he crawls out. This is supposed to be comedic as he throws a quiet fit claiming how he’ll fire her.
Neko Zombie had his eyes, ears, and mouth sewn up before being locked in a cell for the rest of his life. Not to mention, the house is designed to mentally torture the Guests.
In Volume 1 Night 16, the episode ends as the Guest/POV Character falls into a bottomless pit, though he is just fine in the next episode. In Volume 1 Night 18, there is a dream sequence where the Guest falls off a cliff.
Lost Doll's doll was thrown away by her parents before the show takes place, causing her to search for the doll in Gregory House for an eternity. She doesn't realize that she's become the doll she's looking for.
Gregory house is basically a metaphore for a mental hospital where many Are mentally ill and violent, which the person dissociate him/herself to experience
In Volume 1 Night 03, Neko Zombie makes a brief mention of how beautiful he used to be. In Volume 1 Night 21, the character Dead Body talks to the Guest about how much his body is an inconvenience to him, before chasing him to try to steal his body. Similar characters appear in Volume 3 Night 02, also discussing their want for new bodies.
debatable, but since the show is usually done through a first-person pov it can often feel like the characters are talking to the viewer, which could potentially trigger paranoia
A character named catherine is extremely lewd and makes sexual noises when she draws blood out of patients. She appears in all volumes, and is the main character of bloody karte.
In Volume 1 Night 14, the Guest is drowned by Toilet Baby. in Volume 3 Night 20, Gregory almost drowns. In The Gregory Gallery Tour, Toilet Baby returns and tries to drown Gregory.
