Dispatch is an episodic adventure game developed and published by the American developer AdHoc Studio. It consists of eight episodes released on PlayStation 5 and Windows throughout October and November 2025.
Lead a team of dysfunctional superheroes in a choice-driven workplace comedy. Juggle emergencies, office politics and personal drama while striving to become a hero.
Ehhhh. Tricky. Robert is implied to have a troubled relationship with his father, and the DLC comics have his father engage in what some fans interpret as abusive behavior (telling an injured child to "get up" and not expressing much concern about the injury).
Robert recognize to having a complicated relationship with his father who was absent/neglectful. To give an exemple; When a character tells Robert he met his dad once and had a 1h talk with him, Robert says it's a longer tall he ever had with him.
episode 3; while dispatching, there is a drug related mission where the called specifically ask for "the bat guy", if you do send Sonar he is implies to have taken some, though it is just a brief line
Episode 5; If you cjose to keep Sonar, he can be seen taking drugs in the toilets during the bar fights.
sexual comments are constantly made towards Robert, with him appearing disinterested. certain choices in Invisigal’s romance route can lead to Invisigal forcibly kissing him. in chapter 6, Malevola touches his groin twice without his consent. most of these scenes are played for laughs; the Invisigal scene is played straight, but depicted as desirable.
one choice can also lead to Phenomaman kissing Robert, although this at least isn’t done to take advantage of Robert (Phenomaman is an alien and doesn’t understand human social customs.)
There are multiple instances where whenever someone on the team makes Invisigal mad, She turns invisible to feign leaving and then punches them out of nowhere.
Robert is consistently sexually harassed by Invisigal and Malevola, as well as being kissed suddenly at least a couple of times. It's often played for laughs.
The protagonist tortures a villain goon for information at the very start of the game. There's another torture scene in Episode 7 which is more violent and drawn out.
fingers are cut off explicitly in a flashback; fingers are bitten off in the same episode, present time, different character. robert is double jointed and pops his thumb out of place once or twice for comedy
Ep5: Twice in the Sardine Bar, audio only, no visible liquids. Most of the bar scene is safe — it's only a little after the bar fight begins.
First cue: Rob bites the fingers off a guy, then gets thrown into a bathroom. A stall opens briefly and you can see Coupe hunched over a toilet — she makes an audible gagging noise. No grossness visible.
Second cue: there's a big Avengers-style dolly shot backwards where you see all the heroes on screen having different fights. Coupe shows up with a drink in her hand, laughing, then ducks off-screen to audibly gag. No grossness visible.
You have the option to spit on Shroud’s face while he has you hostage, but it ends up just landing on your own face because you are being dangled upside down.
i think this trigger is more specifically for live theater that calls on the audience for people who are worried about being selected from a crowd but this is a story-telling video game where you guide the characters
A character that could potentially be read as autistic is bullied when he first joins the team. By the end he is a valuable part of the team (in my play through at least)
Multiple calls in-game feature audio of babies and young children crying in the background, including the very first call in Episode 2. Intensity and volume of cries vary.
Not really, but I would say there is queerbait. The devs were super vague about whether there would be queer romance options (instead of just admitting there aren’t any) and there’s a scene where the protagonist can be kissed by another man with no acknowledgement or follow up.
