The character of Snatcher is bet described as a ghost. He bears a similar appearance to one of those noodly inflatables placed outside of car dealerships during sales. He is not the traditional ghost, but still a ghost nonetheless.

The jumpscares, listed in Act order - She Came From Outer Space doesn't quite count but the sudden jumpcut to a mock horror film/alien encounter type scene may shock some viewers - The Murder Scene in Murder on the Owl Express come extremely suddenly and can be considered a jumpscare. - Contractual Obligations starts off with a jumpscare in the form of the player being captured in a net while an ominous and dissonant background music plays. A few crows fly across the screen and then the player is attacked by Snatcher who loudly shouts when introducing himself. He pops out of the ground a few other times during the chapter and later in the Act, introducing himself loudly. - Queen Vanessa's Manor is entirely a horror-style level, so I reccommend you avoid it if you aren't good with horror. The game can be completed without playing through it and there is a skip early on in the level that allows you to bypass the horror section. - The last Chapter of Alpine Skyline comes as a slight jumpscare since it starts out of nowhere. It occurs after collecting all the time pieces in the area.

Queen Vanessa's Manor contains lots of strobe/screen distortion effects and loud noises. However, the level is not necessary to beating the game and there is a way to skip it.

There are implications that the character Queen Vanessa abuses alcohol due to the many wine bottles scattered around her house. As of the Seal the Deal DLC, Conductor can be seen drinking at a bar in the Arctic Cruise Act.

In the Subcon Forest chapter, chapter 3, nooses can be found around the forest. You will also encounter black, spirit-like minion creatures hanging from these nooses. They seem to be alive but it is still disturbing in context. Here is a picture of a minion creature in Subcon Forest hanging from a rope. Nothing obviously graphic is shown and the rope doesn't go all the way around the neck, it seems kind of loose, but still. https://pm1.narvii.com/6699/46b0cd8882b37d2cf67198b73d0fe91adea6734c_hq.jpg

There is a very bloody scene in the Chapter titled Murder on the Owl Express. Though the effect is very cartoony, it comes out of nowhere and can be shocking to some viewers

Shakey cam is often used during the level Queen Vanessa's manor (a horror level which can be skipped) and is also used in the Seal the Deal DLC but can be toggled off.
