Tune in to the loudspeakers of a small midwestern sleep-away camp plagued by supernatural terrors and natural disasters. Sydney Sargent, resident camp nurse, cheerfully reports on all the terror we must face with a smile. Let's hope there's nothing weird about that!
While the main character is quite literally a man in a dress, no transphobic jokes are made at his expense. (also, he's a trans man, not cis male or trans female, so I don't think these jokes apply to him anyway)
The main character is a nurse and medicine being given to people is mentioned multiple times, but no recreational or illegal drug use is mentioned to my knowledge.
There are mentions of bees, ants, spiders, and several references to centipedes, as well as other bugs, and all of the cabins are also named after bugs.
In an early episode of Season 2, a character's face is mutilated and it is described in explicit detail. There are other instances of gore but nothing else as graphic as that so far.
There's something close- after the credits of each episode is a small message. The season 1 ones don't mean anything, but the season 2 ones are riddles that lead to a specific letter.
