Chapter 6 have enemies that appear to be cyberneticaly modified gorillas. On top of implying inhumane animal testing, you are forced to kill them in combat
Everyone seems to forgive Noam for gaslighting them, even Pax who admits to them having done so during their relationship. Depending on the ending you get, Pax can also rekindle her relationship with Noam, despite all the mental abuse
Despite being on the run from two different totalitarian police states, the Utah Mormon police is treated as good guys who help our heroes out in chapter 4
The game also have one of the cops for the fascist police state help our heroes at the very end, which gives "not all cops" vibes for sure
The main character calls her sister for a "sp*z". Chapter 3 requires you to steal the voice box from a disabled person to get into a room with a voice controlled lock
In chapter 7, Noam makes fun of Sol for being short-statured to his face, implying he is only distinguishable from a child from his beard and voice
In chapter 9, an elderly woman in a wheelchair is made fun of for her disability by Ziggy
A character who is 23 is said to have been in a relationship with a woman who appears to be middle aged. Nothing illegal or anything, but might come across as icky if nothing else
The ghosts possess people and makes them lose their mind, sometimes resorting to violence if they're "too far gone" as the game puts it
A character implied to have PTSD have violent outbursts and is scared of hurting people. Another character mentions his family member having the same thing and being a mortal threat to those around her. Very insensitive all around
The game tries to show a genuine multicultural and diverse cast, but falls into certain stereotypes anyways at times. By no means the worst I have ever seen on this point, but something to keep in mind
The voice actors seem to be cast based on lived experience which is good at least. Sadly, their lines are sometimes very clearly written by someone who hasn't
Chapter 9 introduces a character named Nainai, who do seem to embody various negative stereotypes of elderly Asian women, however
A majority of it is from villains towards the fictional people with superpowers, though one of the main characters refers to Native Americans as "Indians", justifying it as him being just a big fan of western films
Multiple characters have trauma that implies PTSD, Sol stating it outright and is then made fun of by other characters for having a emotional support plant.
Particularly tasteless and upsetting is that one of your super abilities in the game is to trigger people, which can be used on your allies and is treated as a GOOD thing somehow
A biker gang you meet multiple times all wear various pieces of fetish gear, including bondage equipment and gimp masks. However they don't partake in any actual sexual activities
Eli believes in lizard people conspiracy theories, and the rest of the gang seem to treat it as just a bit awkward and not seriously dangerous bigotry
Pax compares the 1984-style police state in the game to that of n*zi germany at one point, and Noam calls a bouncer at a club for a n*zi, though obviously meant in a negative context in both cases
Lots of talks of "voices in my head" in the context of acting violent, which has shades of this for sure even if its explain in universe as being due to ghosts
An explosion resembling a nuke happened in the backstory to the game, with the area around it being covered in ash and meant to look like the aftermath of an atomic bomb. Chapter 6 have you traverse this area, with Pax wearing a t-shirt with a illustration of an actual nuclear explosion on it
A plot point involves people with powers "going nova" when having meltdowns, causing their powers to hurt others. This happens multiple times in the game
One of the main characters, Noam, power is literally to gaslight people. Not treated seriously at all by the narrative, which is very uncomfortable
More disturbingly, in chapter 8 Noam admits to having gaslit Pax while they were in a relationship on the regular, trying to justify it as them "looking out for her". This appears to be treated as a good reason by the narrative
One of your powers involve "canceling" enemies, causing them to commit suicide. You are forced to use this power as part of a combat tutorial in chapter 6

Actual robot dogs are destroyed via EMP grenade during the final fight
