The Vampire Bat
Movie • 1933 • Horror
ReportWhen the villagers of Klineschloss start dying of blood loss, the town fathers suspect a resurgence of vampirism. While police inspector Karl remains skeptical, scientist Dr. von Niemann cares for the vampire's victims one by one, and suspicion falls on simple-minded Herman Gleib because of his fondness for bats. A blood-thirsty mob hounds Gleib to his death, but the vampire attacks don't stop.

Not sure why someone said no. It's a major plot point.

Once again, not sure why this is listed as no. A major plot point is that a character is hated and hate-crimed for being autistic.

A character jumps off a cliff. But it's not discussed as suicide.

One snide remark about a character making a nice big meal for a vampire

No. There are no black people in this movie at all, which is arguably just as bad.

The entire movie hinges on a neurodivergent guy being scapegoated for murder.
