too many turkeys sqeezed together in a too small shed, it doesn't meet their wellness criteria, so it'd be safe to assume that there are sad animals depicted in this movie.
I think a lot of the ‘yes’ answers come from people confusing this movie with another one. There are multiple fishing scenes and there is a short scene at a turkey farm (turkeys are seen in a crowded barn and someone picks a dead turkey up from the floor but that’s it) but there are no other scenes of animal abuse.
The parents of the victim have a turkey farm. There is a brief part where a turkey appears to be dead. Not too graphic. One of the people is holding it by the neck to pass it to the other and it's eyes are closed.
the actual car crash is not shown. however you see a car and log truck going towards each other and honking. then later you see the aftermath of a car on fire and logs everywhere.
a man shoots himself. the blood splatter on the surrounding walls is excessive, but the actual act of shooting himself is not splatter-gore for gore's sake. i can't watch gory movies, but i can handle most gun violence (ie the departed) but not like the gun violence in drive (excessive).
HOWEVER if bloody dead bodies is a lot for you, then maybe it's not for you. nothing too graphic shown, mostly just covered in blood.
