The Animals of Farthing Wood is an animated series created by the European Broadcasting Union between 1992 and 1995 and based on the series of books written by Colin Dann. It was produced by Telemagination, based in London, and La Fabrique, based in Montpellier in France, but also aired in other European countries. The first countries to air the series were Germany and the United Kingdom, in January 1993.
A Saint Bernard faces off against a couple of greyhounds in one scene, but they are not forced into it by humans. The confrontation is entirely bloodless, but we do see the Saint Bernard tackle one of the greyhounds in a very rough manner.
Weasel taunts a pig for being overweight. The pig sees it as a positive, stating that he's won prizes for his size, which gets a derisive laugh from Weasel.
Weasel gets intoxicated drinking the contents of a wine barrel. It is presented light-heartedly, with her becoming more openly affectionate toward Badger.
A wildcat is potentially drowned in Series 3. We do not see the cat struggling in the water, but we hear the sound of it hitting the water, after which it does not reappear.
