While being chased by assassins, Lee Yul and Dong-joo switch places, per the latter's request to keep the Crown Prince safe. The assassins chase Dong-joo (in Lee Yul's clothing) to the edge of a cliff, where he is shot in the back with an arrow and falls to his death in the ocean below.
