Spies Are Forever
Movie • 2016 • Music
ReportAgent Curt Mega finds himself thrust into the shadows of Cold War politics as he works to foil a plot to rebuild the Nazi empire. Along the way, Agent Mega must tango with a Russian femme fatale, waltz around a black market arms dealer, and samba through a horde of outrageous characters. With a license to kill and the voice of an angel, Mega must stay alive, complete the mission, and prove to his enemies that the deadliest weapon of all is a little song and dance.

While it doesn't happen during the musical itself, one of the characters reveals that they were an agent since early childhood, which kind of implies some level of child abuse

Main character abuses alcohol as coping mechanism for probable PTSD/Depression.
There is also a whole song where the characters are just taking shots and getting very drunk, but it’s a one time occurrence.

There are no animals in the official release. However, I recommend to NOT read the comments in act 2 part 1 of the musical just to be completely safe

Nothing comes of it, but one of the staged, non-graphic "torture" moves is the main character's head being squeezed. It is entirely just one actor holding the other's head, but keep yourself safe if it may make your mind wander.

During the song "Not so bad", two characters address the live audience directly. One of them makes them repeat after him a (quite offensive) chant several times which causes the other to yell at them.
Other minor, and maybe inoffensive, break is the inclusion of the list of the kickstarter backers as "confirmed kills" of a character
