It doesn’t even seem like most people notice the blood effect but in size it can get excessive during its split second of being onscreen. Everything slows down when there’s a victory/defeat and it’s on display for longer as a result but no gore whatsoever.

i personally think that yeah with how some of the characters are written it can be kinda bad, lucio is very stereotypical, Junkrat and Roadhog are both the "violent and chaotic mentally ill person" trope while also being played for laughs to name a couple and that's not even mentioning the shit with the weird stuff abt the asian characters, also the 1 irish characters different custom skins (outfits) r all named after alcoholism, as a minority myself Overwatch is basically "minority misrepresentation: the game" imo don't know why people keep saying it's not tbh
