SPOILERS!! right when estella is born the baroness wanted the maid to kill her first born baby on sight. it is mentioned a couple times but not triggering
When she's at her job she's washing the floor and the boss steps on her fingers. It crunches audibly and she holds her hand in pain. You can't see mutilation.
A cork from a wine or champagne bottle hits a man in the eye suddenly, and there is a dog named Wink with one eye, apparently. One man is also sprayed in the face with perfume, I think.
When she's at her job she's washing the floor and the boss steps on her fingers. It crunches audibly and she holds her hand in pain. The noise is the "bone breaking" noise.
Mild physical torture (slapping, restraining, similar things) mixed with what could arguably be called psychological torture which occurs for a large portion of the movie (with one higher tension scene).
I don't know if this counts or not, but as a baby, Cruella is given away to her biological mother's maid. Not exactly adbucted, as the mother did this willingly
3 dalmatians are kidnapped. When Cruella creates a dress showcasing a Dalmatian-like pattern, people begin to speculate that she turned said kidnapped Dalmatians into a dress or coat. This turns out to be untrue.
Estella does however gag when cleaning a toilet, nothing else happens. It happens after you zoom in to the bathroom and she's unclogging it.
A man lightly gags too after giving Estella a card.
You see a baby briefly in the opening scene, immediately after birth. It appears again later, but wrapped in a cloth, nearer to the end when a man explains something to Cruella
Lots of discussion of “psychos” in pejorative ways and other similar comments. People are frequently called “imbeciles”, “incompetent”, and other similar insults connected to intelligence and capability. These are often (if not always) unearned. It should also be strongly noted that a lead character behaves in a way that indicates duel personalities (even referring to the “other person” in the third person and as such). One of the “personalities” (for lack of a better term) is more aggressive, unkind, and even violent. There is no mention of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) but the movie does heavily play with with incorrect notion that a person’s more unkind and violent side is another personality. It reminded me a lot of Split in that it didn’t outright say anyone’s mental health issues are responsible for violence, aggression, or their life problems but it did feed into that stereotype. Overall not ideal.
not shown. but, art, who is gay, (i think that’s his name?) talks about how he gets hate a lot on the streets and things. however, he does not seem to be affected by it.☺️
One small part where a character's arm receives a minor cut and is shown on screen looking as if a little blood has welled up but does not run down the character's arm at all.
Net gain of dogs. Unsure as to why others are lying.
